A reminder about Day Camp being offered August 6-10, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM Monday thru Friday at Camp Harmison. This camp is available to students who will be entering 2nd grade thru 10th grade in the fall of 2018. If you have a child who is interested or know someone who may be interested, contact the church office for information about registering—firstumc3@frontier.com or call 304.258.2766. Also, if you wish to sponsor a child who may not be able to pay, please make your check out to FUMC with Harmison Day Camp on the memo line and those funds will be used to help a child attend.

Combined Worship Service
We will be having our combined worship service July 29, 2018, at 10:00 AM at The Blue. There will be a potluck lunch to follow. Everyone is invited to come and bring a covered dish to share.
Silent Auction
Our Youth Group Silent Auction closes Sunday, June 10 during lunch after the 11:00 service. Pork BBQ, baked potatoes with all the fixins, hot and cold drinks will be provided for auction attenders who wish to have lunch. The Auction was extended another week due to the inclement weather on June 3.
Scholarship Applications
Applications for the FUMC/McBee Scholarship are available at the church. Completed applications need to be returned to the church office on or before Sunday, June 17, 2018. If you have questions, contact Ann Potter or call the church office 304.258.2766.
Spring Clean Up

Silent Auction
FUMC Youth Group will be having a silent auction Sunday, June 3, in the Social Hall beginning at 8:00 AM. Any items or services anyone can donate will be greatly appreciated. If you have new or gently used items please contact Nikki Fauver at fauver@yahoo.com, i.e. home décor, craft items, game tickets, services (spring yard cleanup etc.), woodworking items, gift cards/certificates, babysitting, etc.

There will be an Easter Sunrise Service at Camp Harmison, April 1 at 6:30 AM.

Pastor Doug will conduct a Good Friday Tenebrae Service, March 30 at 7:00 PM at Green Street Campus.
Disciples for Christ Breakfast
The Disciples for Christ men’s group will meet for breakfast on Saturday, April 7 at 8:00 AM at the Potomac River Grill. All men of First Church are welcome to attend.
