School Supply Donations

FUMC is collecting school supplies for Widmyer and Warm Springs Intermediate

Donations may be left at the church by August 20 or if you wish to make a monetary donation toward school supplies, make a check out to FUMC with school supplies on the memo line and that money will be used to purchase those supplies for the schools.  The supplies collected will be taken to the 2 schools mentioned and used as students need them during the 2017-18 school year.

Website Maintenance

Tonight GoFirst.Org will be down for several hours due to scheduled server maintenance. While this maintenance should be complete between the hours of 2:00-4:00 AM it is possible some latency issues will carry into tomorrow. If this is the case, please be patient in attempting to access the website – as outages and delays are possible following server updates.

Dunk Pastor Doug

Pastor Doug will be in the Dunk Tank at the Morgan County Expo from 12:30-1:00. So take a trip down to the High School and take a shot at dunking him!

The Expo runs till 5:00 today at the High School, so feel free to stop in and visit our booth in the Old Gym adjacent to the Cafeteria.

Youth Group Summer Calendar

07/16 – Swim Night!

The Youth will meet at 4:30 at the blue and leave for the Wood’s Resort for a night of swimming, fellowship, and Pizza! Please provide swim gear and sun screen. The youth will return to the Blue at 7:30 – Special Thanks to Nancy Fairall in arranging his Activity

07/23 – Life Skills Night!

The Youth Group meets at its usual time to learn practical life skills. Whether that means changing a tire or baking a quiche, good times are guranteed.

07/30 – Service Night!

A Chance for the youth to give back to their community through service. The youth will meet at their usual time, and leave from the blue.

08/06 – Swim Night II!

Swimming at Cacapon National Park. The schedule will be as it was for the Woods Swim trip.
