Lenten Lunches
Lenten Lunches will be served at Berkeley Baptist Church on Rt. 13, beginning Wednesday, March 4, weekly through Wednesday, April 8. Lunches are served at 12:00 noon and include soup and sandwiches plus a bounty of desserts, prepared by a different neighboring church each week. The meal is followed by a Lenten message offered by the Pastor of the hosting church. The FUMC Kitchen Team will be serving on March 25, and Pastor Doug will deliver the message. We hope you’ll find time to join us for any, or all of the lunches! Thank you to Berkeley Baptist Church for receiving us.
The Potluck Luncheon for adults 55+ is held on the 3rd Monday of each month at the church social hall (unless published otherwise). Bring your favorite dish to share and enjoy hearing a guest speaker or a musical presentation.

The Winter movie event showing “Abominable” showcases the evenings activities which will include a snack at 2:00 PM followed by crafts, games, music and the movie. Everyone is welcome! Bring a friend and enjoy an evening of fun. All are welcome.

The FUMC hosts a Men’s Bible Study in the church basement every Wednesday starting at 7 AM for one hour. The study is open to all men in the community and is led by participating volunteers and occasional guests in a study of their choice. Coffee is provided and volunteer donations are accepted to help identified needy in the Berkeley Springs community. All men are welcome. Please come and check us out. You will be pleased.
There is a Laity Bible Study every Thursday evening at 6:30 PM. It is held at “The Blue,” our campus located at 440 Fearnow Rd. in Berkeley Springs. The study is led by Mark Cowles and is discussion based, centered around the stories published in The Upper Room ministries booklets. Families are encouraged to bring your children. All literature is provided, refreshments are served and activities are available for the children who attend.

This event will be a winter-themed message focusing on how Jesus is our Light, and bringer of Peace. It will include a meal at 5:00 PM followed by crafts, music and the movie “Frozen” on the big screen. Everyone is welcome! Bring a friend and enjoy an evening of fun.
The Christmas Pageant “Christmas Gifts” will be presented at FUMC Saturday, December 21 at 7:00 PM and again Sunday, December 22 at 2:00 PM. Come out and see the talent of local children as they present the show.
FUMC will have the annual Halloween Outreach October 31 in the church parking lot. Individually wrapped candy donations are needed for the event. Car Show and Swap Meet Coming Soon at the Blue! We are excited to offer again this fall, September 14, 10:00 – 4:00 PM at the Blue, a Car Show that will feature many of the classic cars in our area. The show will also feature Free Food, a Cake Walk, Kids’ Activities, Fun Tunes, and a Swap Meet, including the opportunity for Vendors and Crafters to show and sell their wares. Would you like to volunteer to help with any of these features of this festive day? Please consider your ability to help with set up, food prep, at a registration table, or with kids’ activities.
